About me
Steve Wasserman has been Publisher of Heyday since 2016 and is a former editorial director of Times Books/Random House; a past publisher and editorial director of Hill & Wang at Farrar, Straus & Giroux; and editor at large at Yale University Press. He is also a former editor of the Los Angeles Times Book Review and a principal architect of the Los Angeles Times Festival of Books. A former partner of literary agency Kneerim & Williams, he has represented such authors as Linda Ronstadt, Christopher Hitchens, and David Thomson. Wasserman’s memoir, Tell Me Something, Tell Me Anything, Even if it’s a Lie, was released in early October. He lives in Berkeley.
