About me
Amanda Hawkins’ first book of poetry, When I Say the Bones I Mean the Bones, is forthcoming on January 1, 2025. They are a Tin House, Bread Loaf, and Melon Public Scholar and winner of the Editor’s Prize for poetry from The Florida Review, the Emerging Writer Award from Key West Literary Seminar, and the Wandering Aengus Book Award. They hold an MA in theological studies from Regent College in Vancouver, B.C., an MFA in Creative Writing from University of California, Davis, and are currently a PhD student in English. They live in Northern California with their family.
